What is next for Boxing?

Can the ancient sport of boxing make the necessary changes to evolve?


The power promoters in boxing have made their money, but how have they pushed the sport forward?

Bob Arum and Don King pushed the sport to where it is today. Their moves and makings in the '60s, '70s, '80s, and '90s were considered innovative (then) to create what we have today. Although there was not much drastic change, there was a noticeable change given the times.


What innovation or growth should we expect next?

Where do we start? There are so many issues with boxing.


The promoters, the judges, the managers, and the system altogether are outdated.


New promoters like Ben Shalom, Overtime Elite, and Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) will be eyed closely to see if their disruptive business models will help move the sport forward another 20-30 years.
